Limerick City’s 40 Hurtz lands in The 3rd Room for a high-intensity night of bass-driven energy.
Known for his acclaimed work and albums with Citrus Fresh and Hazey Haze, alongside collaborations with Strange Boy and other frequent creative partners, 40 Hurtz continues to push Ireland’s underground forward. His latest album with Hazey Haze was launched with a live show at the legendary Berghain, marking another major moment in his evolving sound.
Co-founder of the bass-focused label For the Heads That Know (with Godwin), 40 Hurtz delivers sets packed with sharp production, familiar vocal cuts, heavy low-end pressure, and unexpected remixes.
Opening the night is Skenny DJ, a rising selector from Ennis, Co. Clare, bringing fresh energy to the floor. Blending techno, electronic, and rock influences, his sets move between driving rhythms and unexpected turns, keeping the dance floor locked in from start to finish.
Expect an intimate space. Expect a nice community of dancers.

Singer Song Writer Gig

An evening of original live music comes to Lucas Bar,

bringing together 2 singer-songwriters and one band for a night of shared songs, stories, and connection.
Set in the intimate back bar of Lucas pub, this gathering celebrates local voices and community creativity — a place where artists and listeners meet, from stripped-back solo performances to a full-band close.

Each act brings their own sound, mood, and story, contributing to a night built on collaboration and support.

Bring your partner or find one on the night lol!

Taking The Stage
Jaymz Sheppard
is singer-songwriter from Ennistymon, crafting original songs with deep, contemplative lyrics.
His music gently explores the edges of life experience — touching on grief, memory, and meaning — blending raw emotion with reflective themes.

Toni (Tony) Benn

is an Irish singer-songwriter based in Miltown Malbay, County Clare known for his acoustic and folk-influenced sound. His music has been described as sincere and emotive, with a stripped-down style that draws comparisons to artists like John Martyn, Cass McCombs and even Bruce Springsteen. Benn’s early musical journey included playing in folk-rock and grunge bands along the west coast of Ireland, followed by formal study at Dublin’s Ballyfermot School of Music and years busking in Temple Bar in Dublin.

Floriáne Blancke & Quentin Cooper

Their music is a sound made from harp, guitars, piano and singing that experiments with French and Peruvian roots. It also incorporates aspects of blues, rock, and jazz to influence their original songs and instrumental pieces.
Brian Fleming is a traditional percussionist from Dublin, living the wild Atlantic Dream in Co Clare since 2004. He has played on over 50 albums in over 30 countries. He plays a wide range of percussion, specializing in bodhran and West African djembe. He is excited to lose his Ennis Eccentric Music Society virginity in 2026.
Neil Fitzgibbon is known by everyone in Co. Clare in both traditional circles and the alternative music scene. Master fiddle and guitar player from Athlone who has played with many famous acts he would like to keep anonymous, he is renowned for just getting stuck in anywhere where there is great music to be made, in and out of the country.

Bushplant are a long-running Clare-based trad-rock band.

They have appeared in festivals in the UK and Europe and have hosted their own annual Bushfest for several years now,

featuring as much local talent as they can cram into one day.

Our Midsummer Gig
The summer is well under way & we have put something special together for you to enjoy.
Four Fantastic acts all new to this stage. Be warned you will need comfy shoes for this one.
Machine Gun Ceili – We are keeping this as a surprise!!!!!!!
The Jobseekerz – Originally hail from the magical lands of Cavan with members from as far and wide as Navan and Louth. They draw their inspiration from the elevator music thats played in the Post Office every monday morning whilst standing in the queue for their dole.
Alice Robinson – is an Irish singer-songwriter from Dundalk, known for her authentic, often darkly humorous lyrical style that blends elements of punk poetics with intimate musicality.
Kian Mac Gearailt – Singer song writer from Ennis.
It is going to be hopping and as always the open Mic session from 8.30pm-9pm.
Sure you’ll be kicking yourself if ya miss it!!!
